# Server Setup

Brix separates browser-safe contracts, server integrations, and application assembly. Start with the server boundary, then use the focused guides for authentication, security, middleware, errors, observability, caching, and deployment.

`defineBrixServer` connects server-only integrations to browser-safe configuration. `createBrixApp` then assembles that configuration with discovered routes, middleware, rendering, assets, and platform behavior.
