Deploying to Node and AWS Lambda

Package and run the generated Brix application on Node servers or as a native AWS Lambda handler.

Node

brix build --platform node
HOST=0.0.0.0 PORT=3000 brix start

brix start imports the named app export from an existing dist/app.mjs. Keep the complete dist directory and the exact project installation together. It defaults to host 0.0.0.0, port 3000, and NODE_ENV=production when unset.

AWS Lambda

brix build --platform aws

Use handler app.handler when dist is the function package root, or dist/app.handler when the repository root is packaged. Do not create a source wrapper around src/app.ts; it would bypass generated route and island assembly. The DynamoDB data-cache adapter is supported only on AWS. Its optional strong: true enables consistent reads; invalidation remains eventual.
